Xavier E. Prather Recognized as a Recipient of the Pauli Murray New Solo Award

Attorney Xavier E. Prather of LawyerLike has been named as a recipient of the Pauli Murray New Solo Award. The Pauli Murray New Solo Award is presented by the State Bar of Michigan to an attorney who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and success within the first three years of their solo or small firm legal practice.

The Pauli Murray New Solo Award is named after Attorney Pauli Murray, who was forced to go into private practice because law firms would not hire her, despite Murray's academic excellence in law school. She was a nationally renowned civil rights activist who helped found the National Organization for Women.
